Force-feed lubricators; cooling lubricant. - To lubricate a step thrust bearing for a steam turbine B actuating a fan A, a ring K, formed with a rectangular screwthread and rotating with the shaft D, forces oil upwards through a groove between the collars of the thrust bearing E and a bush C keved to the shaft. The oil returns to a reservoir L which is cooled by a jet of air supplied from the fan by a pipe S.
