Transversely adjustable pin-feed tractors.-A stationery web-feed e.g. for a high-speed printer, has a single, a pair, or two pairs of tractors 12, 13, 14, 15 each tractor mounted on an assembly 55 transversely adjustable along toothed racks 20, 22 by pinions 60 drivable by flexible shafting from a common drive 30. The drive 30 has a continuously rotating main drive shaft 65 which may be selectively clutched so that both flexible shaftings.31, 33 are driven in either of two directions to move tractors 12, 14 to the left or right: the selection is effected by a control 35, a knob 102 and cables 36, 37. If simultaneous adjustment is required of the lefthand tractors 13, 15 a further control 38 connects the drive to them as well via flexible shafts 32, 34.
