Abstract
1,166,548. Grinding cement. ESCHER WYSS A.G. 7 Sept., 1967 i[31 Oct., 1966], No. 41022/67. Heading B2A. A grinding and screening system for cement has at least one mill 1 and at least two screening apparatuses 2, 3, at least one of which is connected into the closed circuit of the or one of the mills. Connecting conduits and operatable shut-off devices or valves 9, 11, make it possible for the fires sides of at least two screening apparatuses to be connected selectively in parallel, Fig. 1, or in series, Fig. 2, relatively to one another. Material is fed from the mill 1 by a bucket elevator 5. Further embodiments include a coarse mill 13. and additional screening apparatus. With valves 11, 29, 49, Fig. 4, in their opposite position to that of Fig. 4, the fires sides of the screens 2, 3, 24 are in parallel and the screens 2, 3 are connected upstream of the mill 1 and the screens 24 in the mill closed circuit. With the valves in the position of Fig. 4 and elevator 11-2 working, the screens 2, 3 and 24, 3 have their fires sides connected in series, the screen 2 being upstream of the mill and the screens 3, 24 in the closed circuit of the mill.
