[Also in Division C3] A support for floating ground (which is a support interposed between a rigid foundation integral with a wall or framework of a building and a floor) comprises a cellular synthetic organic polymer in sheet on panel form subjected to compression such that one dimension is reduced by at least 10% of the original. The polymer may be polystyrene foam or a polysulphone foam and may be formed by moulding or passage between rollers before compression.
