Abstract

1,163,537. Moulding concrete pillars. TRENT CONCRETE Ltd. 9 Feb., 1967 [26 Feb., 1966], No. 8552/66. Heading B5A. [Also in Division E1] A mould for a plurality of concrete pillars comprises a base 35a and opposed sides 35b adjustably spaced from each other, and partitions 36 which are spaced apart according to the required pillar lengths, the reinforcement 37 of the columns being arranged to extend through the partitions. Recesses in the pillar sides are formed by plates 41a, 41b, 41c, the plate 41a being located by engagement of a recess therein with a boss 40 attached to the mould base 35a by impact adhesive. The plates 41b, 41c are located by bosses 42 engaging holes in an insert 11<SP>11 </SP>which is to be embedded in the pillar (see Divisions E1-E2).
