Abstract

1,163,344. Terminal boards. ZUMTOBEL K.G. 15 June, 1967 [15 June, 1966], No. 27594/67. Heading H2E. A terminal block comprises an insulating terminal carrier 2 having at least one recess which accommodates a terminal body 3 and which is covered by a protective cover 4. The terminal body has two sets of conductor-securing screws 7 and 10, the former to secure the lead conductors to the equipment 11 used in conjunction with the terminal block, and the latter to secure the conductors from this equipment. The cover has openings 5 in line with the conductor receiving hole in the terminal body, these openings being small enough to prevent the terminal body passing through them, and further openings 6 to allow access to the conductor-securing screws 7. The cover is retained by a catch 9, and guides in front of the block.
