Abstract

1,184,258. Terminals; couplings; terminal blocks. G. GL€SEL. 10 Dec., 1968 [23 Aug., 1968], No. 58526/68. Heading H2E. An electrical coupling comprises a housing 2 with a lid 13 providing access to a connector which interconnects a wire passing through a slot 17 and a wire inserted in a hole 19. Holes 19 and slot 17 guide the wires to a connector comprising clamping plates screwed together by a screw 7 which is guided by a bore 12 in lid 13. The lid is secured to the housing 2 by recesses 16 resiliently engaging projections 15. Housing 2 has two pairs of slots 3, the pairs being perpendicular to each other for mounting on rails 1 and an apertured flange 4 for mounting on a surface.
