Abstract

1,042,844. Mounting sockets. STANDARD, TELEPHONES & CABLES Ltd., and AUTOMATIC TELEPHONE & ELECTRIC CO., Ltd. June 9, 1965, No. 24392/65. Heading H2E. An electric socket 11 is adjustably mounted on an angle girder 1 of an equipment rack, the girder having two longitudinally extending grooves 2 and 3 into which an insulating base member 4 to which the socket 11 may be attached, is fitted. The base member has a pair of wing-like members 5 and 6, and each wing has a tag 8 which slides in groove 2 and a clamping screw 9 which fits into groove 3 so that by means of the screw the socket may be clamped at any position along the girder.
