A tube wall comprises at least two parallel tubes 21, a main fin 23 between the or each two adjacent tubes and coplanar with the longitudinal axes of the tubes, and an end fin 26 including an inner section 27 connected to the main fin, a centre section 29 having outer edges which diverge to retain contact with the tubes, and an outer section 31 which provides a flat sealing surface between the tubes. Weld beads 33 secure the end fin to the main fin and to the tubes. The end fin has a thickness approximately half that of the main fin 23.
