One form of the heat exchanger of the parent invention comprising three coaxial tubes, wherein the innermost and outermost tubes 1 and 2 each have a corrugated wall in contact with the intermediate tube which has a smooth wall, is modified in that the said intermediate tube 3 is formed by spirally winding a strip of heat-conducting material around the corrugations of the innermost tube, with zero overlap.
