Abstract

In a balanced flue terminal comprising a rectangular metal box 1 divided by a horizontal partition 2 into an upper compartment 3 and an entirely separate lower compartment 4, said upper compartment 3, which is in communication with a flue gas outlet pipe 9, is provided with four deflector plates 13 forming a nozzle restricting the frontal area of the compartment, and said lower compartment 4, which is in communication with a combustion air inlet pipe 11, incorporates a centrally-disposed vertical deflector plate 14, which deflector plate 14 extends forwards by the same amount as the plates 13. The front of the box 1 is fitted with a metal grid forming a honeycomb structure 12.
