[Also in Divisions Al and F2] A flow control arrangement in a spraying device comprises a nozzle 12 having an outlet and first and second inlets, the first inlet 7 communicating with the outlet under control of a valve element 10 operable by a pressure medium admitted to the second inlet 8; and a tap 5 having two operationally effective positions in one of which liquid under pressure is supplied from source 1 to the nozzle via lines 2. 4, 7 and vacuum pressure via line 8, and in the other of which pressurised liquid is supplied to the second inlet via line 8 and vacuum pressure to the first inlet whereby rapid closing of the valve is effected and no dripping of the liquid from the outlet occurs.
