Abstract

1448024 Valves BLSCHWARY 25 Oct 1973 [30 Oct 1972] 49804/73 Heading F2V A drain valve comprises an inlet 22, an outlet 24, a piston valve member 23 actuated by a flexible cable 29, and a deflector 36 to redirect fluid flowing from the outlet. The piston may be locked in the open and closed positions (Figs. 1 and 5, not shown). The cable is secured to a rack 30 of the piston so as to allow the latter to rotate.
