1360343 Valves STILE-CRAFT MFRS Inc 13 March 1972 11564/72 Heading F2V In a rotary ball valve the ball 15 is provided with a peripheral groove 23 which connects the outlet 21 to a vent 40 when the valve is moved to prevent flow from the inlet 20 to the outlet via ball passage 22. The ball is rotated by a plastic covered handle 16 connected to a shaft 54 which is keyed to the ball at 62. The handle has a bent lug (52) which moves between stops (64), (65) on the body.
