Abstract
1348534 Valves SAUNDERS VALVE CO Ltd 23 March 1972 [25 March 1971] 7803/71 Heading F2V A diaphragm valve comprises a diaphragm closure 6 closed by admitting inlet fluid to above a chamber 8 via a valve 10 and opened by relieving the control fluid to the outlet via a valve 11. The valves may be replaced by a changeover valve (16) (Fig. 4, not shown). An exhaust line (17) communicates with a filter pump (21) which creates a pressure reduction to draw off fluid from the chamber 8. The opening of the diaphragm 6 may be limited or stopped by a manually actuated rod 9.
