Abstract

[Also in Division F4] The direction of air-flow from a cross-flow fan, used to provide an air curtain, is controlled by vanes 31 moved by an electric motor 36 through a worm and worm-wheel 35 and a bar 33. The motor is driven clockwise or anti-clockwise dependent upon movement of a draught detector vane 39 reacting to air movement across the opening whereby a switch 37 or 38 is triggered. Switches 40, 41 prevent overtravel of the motor and vanes.
