Abstract

115,456. Stuart, H. J. April 4, 1917. Dress-suspender grips.-A button clasp for hose-supporters &c. is provided with a button having a headed stud which is passed through registering holes in a folded tape. An elastic sleeve 7 is slipped over the head of the stud 3 and presses the folded tape C against the base-plate 2 of the button, and the tape may be connected as shown to the button loop B. One end only of the tape may be secured to the button so as to cover either the front or front and back of the base-plate. The base-plate may have two prujecting-studs, and its greatest dimension may be less than the width of the tape.
