Abstract
599,352. Watch straps. FISHER, N. CAREW-. Sept. 17, 1945, No. 23906. [Class 43] Each end of a watch strap is connected to a common buckle, one part 3 being attached to the prong-carrying bar 6 of the buckle 7, the other part 2 which has adjustment holes 9 being attached to the rim of the buckle but being capable of movement relative thereto. The end of the part 2 is passed underneath the free bar 8 of the buckle and is then formed into a loop, either by folding the strap back upon itself or by stitching to the end 12 of the strap a tongue piece 11 which may be attached to the main part of the strap by a loop. 13 at its inner end. The strap may be in two pieces 2, 3, as shown, or may be in one piece. The conventional form of watch strap can easily be altered to this form by the attachment of an extension piece 11.
