Abstract

1,153,448. Shelving; stands. L. SZACSKO. 7 June, 1966 [22 June, 1965], No. 25382/66. Headings A4B and A4H. Shelves 426 adjustably mounted on an upright 410 are notched at 430 to embrace the upright and have semi-cylindrical recesses 436, 438 in upper and lower faces to receive pins 424, 422 which are inserted in staggered rows of apertures 418, 420 in the upright. The apertures 418, 420 are equidistantly spaced, at twice the thickness of the shelf, from other apertures in the same row, each aperture is opposite the mid point between apertures in the other row, and preferably passes through the upright, the ends of a single pin projecting from opposite faces of the upright. In a modification the upright is screwed to a wall &c. and shelves with a lipped front edge are mounted at a forward and downward slope to support newspapers and magazines.
