Abstract

115,337. Sculthorp, G. H. July 11, 1917. Stencilling-apparatus. - A stencil duplicator comprises a curved perforated plate provided with a handle for rocking it over the paper &c. to be printed, an ink-pad and waxed &c. stencil being secured over the curved plate by means of projections or hooks on its ends. As shown, the plate A and handle B are formed from one piece of porcelain, glass, or the like so that they may be readily cleaned, the ink-pad or linen sheet and the prepared stencil being secured by projections or studs C. A pointer D adjustable on the edge or flange of the plate is preferably provided to indicate the position of the print to be made on the paper. The plate A may be of metal enamelled or plated, and a wood handle may be fixed in end brackets thereon.
