1,152,703. Socket contact constructions. PLESSEY CO. Ltd. 5 Sept., 1966 [3 Sept., 1965], No, 37720/65. Heading H2E. A conducting socket sleeve 2 has an elastic collar 4 placed over cut-away part 3 so that the internal diameter of the socket is reduced. The collar may be made of irradiated PTFE or PVC and the cut-away part may extend to one end of the sleeve (Figs. 3 and 4, not shown).
