1,148,938. Drying apparatus. JOHN WILDER Ltd. 9 June, 1967 [10 June, 1966; 5 Dec., 1966], Nos. 25982/66 and 54430/66. Heading F4G. [Also in Division A2] A batch grain dryer, which is similar in general construction to the grain dryer, described and illustrated in Specification 1,138,067 comprises: means for passing heated air at a desired, preferably constant, temperature through a batch of grain, which has been loaded into the drying compartment; a device, which is arranged to measure the temperature of air leaving the grain and is associated with means responsive to .this temperature, for terminating drying and initiating a further operation or operations such as: the optional passing of cool air through the dried batch of grain to cool it, unloading the batch of dried grain, loading another batch of grain into the drying compartment, and re-starting drying.
