Abstract

1,148,781. Stoves. CHATWINS Ltd. 11 May, 1966 [31 May, 1965], No. 23023/65. Heading F4W. A solid fuel fired heater comprises a front panel 11 suspended from hook elements 15 on a fire-box 10, the hooks engaging in an inverted channel 19 on the panel, and a separate part 22 which is secured by a bolt 23 passing through the fire-box front thus clamping the front panel in position. The front part 11 is located laterally by projections 20 on the front of the fire-box being engaged by flanges on the front part around the door opening. Rods are used to control a rotary grate 14, an air inlet valve to the fire-box, a flue gas damper and a flap valve and movable top panel separating the air circulating around the fire-box to outlet 25 and the flue gases.
