Abstract

1,148,346. Sieve drum driers. VEPA A.G. 22 Feb., 1967 [2 March, 1966], No. 8437/67. Addition to 1,011,386. Heading F4G. A sieve drum drier comprises sieve drums each having an internal cover-plate or baffle with an air- or gas-permeable portion, e.g. perforations, so as to heat the sieve drum casing. Curved sieve sheets may be mounted concentrically about the drums or plane sieve sheets may be mounted above and beneath the sieve drums, and the perforated portion of each baffle may co-operate with an adjustable perforated sheet to control the air flow therethrough.
