Abstract

1,147,860. Tea trolleys. R. E. R. MONDINEU. 28 Dec., 1967 [26 Jan., 1967], No. 58807/67. Heading A4H. A tea trolley has two pairs of superposed platforms 3, 4 articulated on two vertical struts l 1 , l 2 and movable between horizontal "in use" positions and vertical "stowage" positions, and the platforms are connected together for simultaneous movement by connecting bars 5 which are formed by relatively slidable half bars 5 1 , 5 2 so that folding up one lower platform does not displace the corresponding upper platform. The end of each half bar has a sleeve 10 1 , 10 2 in which the other half bar slides or the half bars may be replaced by telescopic tubes. A lower platform may be tilted beyond the vertical position. The legs 7 are articulated by hinges 9 to the vertical struts 1 1 , 1 2 .
