Abstract

1,144,368. Firearms. FABRIQUE NATIONALE D'ARMES DE GUERRE, S.A. 13 Sept., 1966 [5 Oct., 1965], No. 40920/66. Heading F3C. A firearm comprises a receiver 1 which is provided forwardly of a trigger with a loading orifice 1b. A magazine 5 is disposed within the loading orifice 1b and is supported therein by a support element 7 which is hinged to the receiver 1 and which is urged to its open position by a spring 10 arranged about the hinge 8. The support is locked in its closed position by a spring-loaded, manually actuatable latch 12. The magazine 5 is provided with forward and rear projections 5a, 5b which co-operate with a recess 7c in the support element 7 and a spring 13 mounted on the support element respectively.
