Abstract

[Also in Division H2] In a strip-lamp fitting, an adaptor 21, which is connected to the lamp terminals, is locatable at any position along a current supply track 1 so that its contacts 22 can engage parallel conductors 7 of the track at any point along their length. In one embodiment, Fig. 1, the fitting 9 is mounted in its desired position on the track by two or more clips 11, each embracing the track and being secured to it by nuts and bolts and a screw 16. In another embodiment (Fig. 3, not shown), an elongated plate (32), which is rotatably attached to the fitting 9, is inserted into the lower channel 3 of the track and then rotated so that it locks behind inturned flanges on the track.
