In one position the electrical contacts 3 and earthing tabs 11 do not connect with conductors 12 and earthing lines 15 respectively. On unscrewing the knob 6, the ends of the spring are forced into the grooves 14 more and the spring thrusts the contacts and earthing tabs upward.
