Abstract

1,139,857. Pneumatic tents. LITTON INDUSTRIES, Inc. 5 Oct., 1967 [10 Oct., 1966], No. 45587/67. Heading E1A. A transportable pneumatic shelter comprises an inflatable fabric roof and wall structure secured to a floor adapted to be folded into a storage container therefor. The container is provided with lifting rings, skids, struts 48, jacks 32"; leveling gauges, connections for air conditioning and heating equipment and other various attachments for details of which to-gether with overal dimensions, the Specification should be referred to. The open sides of the above unit are closed by removable and inflatable panels 54 held in position by an inflatable surround 56 or are secured to adjacent units 10'. The floor may be provided with two or three levels to house suitable equipment and the unit may be internally reinforced by supports and provided with a display screen, see Figs. 3 and 4 (not shown).
