Abstract

1,137,002. Wire fencing. SWYFTITE Ltd. 10 Nov., 1966 [13 Sept., 1965], No. 38967/65. Heading E1B. A dropper wire 10 holding fencing wires 14 in spaced relationship co-operates with a locking rod 13 and is undulated to provide V or U-shaped loops 11, 12, alternate loops 11 being aligned to lie in one plane while the remaining loops 12 are bent to lie in another plane, the two planes diverging at approximately 30 degrees. In a modification the aligned loops are curved rather than straight in plan view. In a further modification the two series of loops are formed by two wires secured (e.g. twisted) together to provide opposed pairs of angularly displaced loops.
