Abstract

1,136,325. Prestressed concrete anchorages. HEILMANN & LITTMANN BAU-A.G. 28 Sept., 1966, No. 43240/66. Heading E1W. A concrete structure is post-tensioned by cold-drawn steel wires 1 passing through sheaths 3 and 12 and into a cylindrical end anchorage 6 via an apertured plate 7, where they may be corrugated, and are held in position by a rich concrete mix containing aggregate of not more than 2 m.m. in size. The anchorage 6 may have an external apertured end' plate 11 also, and the sheath 12 has an inlet tube 13 whereby it can be filled with concrete.
