1,136,114. Drawing off thread commencement. W. REINERS. 29 March, 1966 [3 April, 1965], No. 13834/66. Heading D1J. A suction nozzle 4 used for drawing off the thread commencement of a yarn package 1 is assisted by gripper elements 6, 6<SP>1</SP> that periodically group the thread during drawing off, the gripper elements being in the suction air current. The gripper elements may be swingingly mounted, periodically interengaging members that grasp the thread by temporarily looping the thread between them.
