Abstract

1,134,986. Envelope. M. PETRUSHKIN Ltd. 13 Sept., 1967 [31 Jan., 1967], No. 4593/67. Heading B6A. [Also in Division B8] A carton or envelope comprises a front panel, a back panel 2, 3 and a closure flap 6 which is foldable flatwise on to the outside of theback panel, the back panel being provided with a transverse slit 4, the closure flap 6 also being provided with a transverse slit 7 and with a locking tab 9 which engages in the slit 4 in the back panel when the closure flap is closed, the back panel being provided with a tongue 5 which is inserted into both slits to complete the closing of the carton. As shown the back panel is formed in two parts, one part 3 being provided with the slit and the other part 2 containing the tongue.
