Abstract
113,452. Schipper, A. J. Feb. 16, 1917, [Convention date]. Driving-gear for winding and paying-out apparatus.-A winding-drum 2 is connected to the driving-shaft 1 or stationary shaft 3 by lamellar clutches a, b, respectively. The elements 6, 7 of the clutch a are mounted on a ring 5 and secured to the drum 2, respectively, and the elements of the clutch b are similarly secured. The clutches are actuated by projections 11, 12 when the drum is moved longitudinally by the lever 4. Lubricant is placed in the space 13.
