Abstract

1,129,730. Smokers lighters. CROWN SANGYO K.K. 26 Sept., 1967 [30 Sept., 1966], No. 43813/67. Heading F4F. The burner valve of a gas-fuelled electrically ignited cigarette lighter has a main gas outlet 2<SP>1</SP> and an auxiliary outlet 2<SP>11</SP> which consists of a branch from the main passage ejecting a smaller amount of gas, the arrangement being such that a spark is produced between an electrode 1 and the valve nozzle member 2. In a modification an electrode is secured to the nozzle 2 and in another modification outlet 2<SP>11</SP> is an annular space between inner and outer tube members.
