Abstract

1,128,841. Rack-mounted electrical equipment. WERK FUR SIGNAL UND SICHERUNGSTECHNIK BERLIN VEB. 5 April, 1966, No. 15133/66. Heading H1R. In a relay rack arrangement containing a plurality of relay group assemblies, each assembly comprising a plurality of functionally interconnected relays or relay units, the assemblies are interconnected by plug-in connections, and power supply cables are connected to the assemblies by plug-in connections. Preferably, the plug connectors for the power supply cables differ structurally from those for the assembly interconnections. The plug connectors may be secured in place by screws, and may be provided with insulating body portions which, in the case of assembly connectors, may carry identification panels. The relays and relay units may be connected into the front of the assembly be means of distinctive bayonet connections, while the rear of the assembly receives the plug connectors and additional components such as transformers, capacitors, and resistors.
