Abstract

1,128,196. Feeding webs. SVENSKA FLAKTFABRIKEN, A.B. 23 Dec., 1966 [27 Dec., 1965], No. 57794/66. Heading B6B. Apparatus for threading a web through the tortuous path of a drying plant (Fig. 1), comprises an endless conveyer running along the side of the entire tortuous path, which conveyer has two plane belt parts (10, 11 Fig. 4) united at their outer edges and adapted to enclose the leading in end 9 of the web. The conveyer belt is separated or opened out by a guide roller 12 at the entrance to the drying plant, and by a similar roller at the exit, each said rollers rotating about an axis, which is perpendicular to the plane of the web being advanced.
