Abstract

[Also in Divisions H1 and H2] In an assembly of electrical components such as a resistor, capacitor, or inductor 12, a transistor or valve 56, and a battery 80, each component has leads such as 16, 18, which are soldered to terminal posts such as 24, 26, the terminal posts being inserted in holes 38 in an insulating panel 36, and being interconnected as required by flexible conductors such as 48 having fixed to the ends thereof conductive spring clips 44, 50 which engage the terminal posts. Each terminal post comprises a hollow cylinder of brass, copper &c., preferably coated with nickel, silver &c., and has a peripheral shoulder (40, 42, Fig. 2, not shown) which limits the travel of the post into the hole in the panel.
