Abstract

1,028,210. Transformers. RANK XEROX Ltd. Dec. 3, 1964 [Dec. 4, 1963], No. 47925/63. Heading HIT. [Also in Division H2] In a transformer with a number of windings to be connected in series and/or parallel in various ways for different supply and output voltages, the windings are connected to terminals 4 on an insulating panel 5 which also has terminals 8 connected to the supply and terminals 10 connected to external circuits, and a selected one 12 of a number of printed circuit boards is secured to the panel to complete the required inter-connections. As shown, the board is secured, and electrically connected, to the terminals by screws 14, but it may have pins for co-operation with sockets in the terminal panel. To prevent mis-connection, the board 12 and the panel 5 may be asymmetrical.
