1,125,148. Crimpimg yarns. BADISCHE ANILIN & SODA FABRIK A.G. 23 Dec., 1965 [24 Dec., 1964], No. 54517/65. Heading D1F. In crimping a multifilament yarn of a thermoplastic high polymer e.g. a polyamide such as nylon 6, polyester or polypropylene, by the false-twist and heat-set method, the polymer contains 0.05-1% by weight of a nucleating agent e.g. a plastic material the melting point of which is higher than the yarn material, nylon 22, pigments in highly divided condition, magnesium oxide or dyes. The bulk effects are stated to be enhanced.
