1402765 Knitted fabrics E I DU PONT DE NEMOURS & CO 1 Aug 1972 [4 Aug 1971] 35961/72 Heading D1K [Also in Division B5] Tricot fabrics are prepared from yarns composed of filaments of a linear terephthalate The filaments have a sonic velocity value of 1.9 to 3.0 km/sec, an X-ray crystallinity value of 16 to 35%and only one shrinkage-tension peak between 60‹C and 200‹C, this peak occurring at a temperature below 100‹C. Examples give details of the preparation of the fabrics and of their weight, inches per rack, count and bulk.
