Abstract

1,122,527. Passenger conveyers. OTIS ELEVATOR CO. 27 Feb., 1967 [20 May, 1966], No. 9282/67. Heading B8A. A passenger conveyer comprises transparent side panels 14 supporting handrail brackets 31, there being a complete absence of balustrade posts. Each bracket 31 is clamped into engagement with an associated panel 43 by means of wedge cross-sectioned strips 37 held in position by a lever member 55, and a retaining nut and bolt 53, 45.
