Abstract

1434479 Overhead conveyers B M MARCHAND 10 May 1974 [15 May 1973] 20708/74 Heading B7L An overhead conveyer comprises spaced rails 4, 5 of generally C-shaped cross-section arranged back-to-back and brackets 2, 3 spaced along the rails for attachment to a ceiling. The rails have upper legs 15 providing horizontal surfaces 18 along which a carriage may travel, and lower legs 17 shorter than the upper legs 15. The upper leg has a depending flange 20 gripped between a nut 27 or 34 and bracket 2 or 3 bolted thereto. The lower leg has an undercut lip 25 engaging a correspondingly shaped edge of the nut.
