Abstract

1,121,288. Roof drainage. WADE INTERNATIONAL Ltd. 29 Dec., 1965 [20 Nov., 1965], No. 55080/65. Heading E1C. A drain head for running water off a surface includes a wall 30 having (an) aperture(s) 44, the end thereof being just above the surface, the sides thereof converging towards each other and being each shaped in the form of one half of a parabola. The wall 30 forms a frame which is secured to the surface by a flange 10, in which are spaced lugs 14 with apertures 16 for threaded members 18 of a drain body 22 securing in place a flushing clamp 24 held in position by nuts and washers 28. The or each aperture 44 is in a removable plate 34 secured to the frame by an abutment 36 and locked in position by flanges 40 and a tongue 42.
