Abstract

1,119,690. Liquid soap dispenser. HORTON CLEANING PRODUCTS Ltd. 4 April, 1967 [29 Dec., 1966], No. 58052/66. Heading A4V. [Also in Division B8] A liquid soap dispenser of generally rectangular cross-section tapering towards its base has its neck recessed to carry rotatably a split resilient plastics ring 11 on to which is screwed a cap 2, unscrewing of the cap being effected by holding the ring against rotation with a bifurcated hand tool (21, 22), Fig 9 (not shown), engaged against flats 19, 20 on its underside (see Division B8). A groove in the rear side of the dispenser neck 8 receives a tongue 4 of arcuate shape integral with a bracket 3 screwed to a wall 34. The split ring 11 lies outside the tongue 4, so that the dispenser can only be removed &c. after the cap 2 and split ring have been taken off. The base of the dispenser is secured to a plunger-type discharge mechanism 5-7 (not further described) by a bolt 33 having a bore 32 through which the liquid soap passes.
