Abstract

111,937. Vories, L. H. Jan. 11, 1917. Golf clubs.-In an adjustable-headed golf club having three striking faces, the socket 10 is integral with a shaft 13 on which the head may slide within the limits of a shoulder 12 and a screw 24. After adjusting the head to the required angle, a toothed conical portion 14 on the shaft 13 is brought into engagement with a similar toothed portion in a recess 18, and the head is secured by screwing a knurled sleeve 22 on to the screwed end 16 of the shaft 13. The club head may be adjusted for use by either right or left-handed players, and when set in mid-position, as shown at A, Fig. 5, the club may be used for making stymie strokes.
