Abstract

1,116,431. Tractor power lift mechanisms. KLÍCKNER-HUMBOLDT-DEUTZ A.G. 13 July, 1965 [18 Sept., 1964], No. 29642/65. Heading A1P. Draft control signals originating in a rod 16 of a tractor power lift mechanism and operating a main control valve 26 are modified by signals derived from the velocity of the tractor. A shaft 4 driven by the axle 5 of the tractor drives a pump 2 supplying hydraulic fluid to a cylinder 9 to move a spring biased piston 10 operating a lever 14 which forms part of the lever connection between the rod 16 and the control valve 26. The pressures obtainable in the cylinder 9 are variable by means of a throttle valve 11 connected to the sump 6. In an embodiment the pressure of fluid in a cylinder is influenced both by the draft control rod (in the form of a piston) and by the pressure fluid from the pump 2 to operate the main control valve. In a further embodiment the sensitivity of the velocity control is adjustable.
