Abstract

110,984. Duckham, Sir A. M. Dec. 18, 1916. Proportional calculators of the kind in which an extensible member bearing graduations is mounted at the zero end of an evenly divided scale and adapted to be stretched alongside it. The single evenly divided scale is replaced by a number of scales having their zero marks in the same line and the extensible member H is mounted on a wire F' so that it can be moved transversely across the scales.
