Abstract

A developed xerographic powder image 3 held by a first electrostatic charge to an imagecarrying layer 1, which is non-conductive and charge-holding whether exposed to light or not, on a conductive backing 2, is subjected to a second similar charge by a corona wire 4, and transferred to a sheet 6 passing round a transfer roller 5.
