Abstract

1,107,308. Coal conveyer. GEBR. EICKHOFF MASCHINENFABBRIK u. EISINGIESSEREI m.b.H. 8 July, 1965 [15 Oct., 1964], No. 29102/65. Heading B8A. The coal cut by cutter 3 is fed to the endless face conveyer 2 over the inclined lateral casing 11 by and during the movement of the cutter and the conveyer sideways towards the coal face. This feeding of the coal over casing 11 is assisted by agitators B, the feet 4 of which are secured to endless chain 9. The chain has both its runs disposed within casing 11 as shown and is reciprocated to effect the movement of the agitators.
